This safari takes you into the beautiful heart of Kenya, beginning in Amboseli National Park, where vast elephant herds, giraffes, and vibrant birdlife thrive beneath the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Game drives here offer some of East Africa’s most iconic wildlife moments.
Continue to Lake Elmenteita, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with flamingos and pelicans, with plains game roaming nearby. Enjoy a scenic sundowner overlooking the lake, followed by a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha among hippos and abundant birdlife.
Your journey then leads to the Masai Mara, the world’s most celebrated wildlife stage. Experience sweeping savannahs, lion prides, roaming herds, and the winding Mara River—home to hippos and crocodiles. A hippo pool breakfast adds an unforgettable touch.
Conclude in Nairobi, Kenya’s lively capital, with an authentic Ethiopian lunch, a relaxing hotel dinner, and optional visits to Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Day 1 → Welcome to Kenya → Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Airport representative who will fast track you through Immigration and assist you with your luggage. They will then escort you to the pickup area where a member of our Moyo Team will be awaiting you and hand you over to your safari guide who will provide you with breakfast boxes.
Depart for Amboseli National Park which is famous for dramatic views of Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world, and the highest peak on the African continent. Amboseli is also famous for its elephant herds.
Check in and Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
Refresh Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 2 → Amboseli National Park
Rise at your own time and proceed to do both morning and afternoon game drives where you will come across wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards and many more wildlife for you to encounter all while taking in the majestic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3 – Amboseli → The Great Rift Valley
Early rise followed by breakfast, thereafter you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred for your journey through the lush green Kenyan Highlands of Lake Elmenteita. Enjoy magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment enroute to your camp.
Check in at Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp for lunch and a siesta.
Evening Game Drive to enjoy Flamingo, Rothschild Giraffe and other game in the Sanctuary.
Relaxed Dinner and overnight at this magical camp.

Day 4 – The Great Rift Valley
Sleep in today, A Late Rise and a Hearty Breakfast.
Thereafter we depart for Lake Naivasha enjoying a lovely Boat Ride and some shopping in this area where there were some local weavers and artisans.
Return followed by lunch.
Afternoon to enjoy some Spa or Swimming or a Siesta followed by sundowners at the view point.
A Lovely Dinner and a relaxed overnight.
Day 5 – Great Rift Valley – Masai Mara
After a hearty breakfast you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve which is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains.
Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Serena Safari Lodge with an enroute game drive.
Check in and lunch followed by a short siesta.
Depart for an afternoon game drive.
Refresh, dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Driving Time: 5 Hrs from Lake Elmenteita
Day 6 and 7 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, with a hippo pool breakfast in one of the two days.
The reserve is a paradise, with abundant elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion and cheetah alongside the migratory wildebeest and zebra. Leopards are frequently encountered, endangered black rhinos hide in the dense thickets and large rafts of hippo and enormous crocodiles are found in the Mara River.
The park is also home to over 450 bird species.

This will become the highlight of your safari as you glide over the plains and enjoy a birds eye view of the majestic beauty of Masai Mara.
Day 8 – Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early rise followed by breakfast, thereafter you will depart for Nairobi.
Upon arrival into Nairobi enjoy an Ethiopian Lunch Experience followed by check in to the Nairobi Serena Hotel.
You may opt to choose some optional excursions or just relax at hotel.
Dinner is included at the hotel.

Day 9 – Homebound
After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.

Our Safari Vehicles are designed to give you comfort and space to enjoy a wonderful experience of natural wildlife sightings.
Baggage Space is strictly restricted so please do not over pack as you will need to leave back extra baggage at a cost of Storage and Transportation. The Safari vehicles are open from the top and non air conditioned.

Visa, Travel and Baggage Information
1. Kenya is Visa free but you need to do a mandatory electronic travel authorisation which you can do at www.etakenya.go.ke
2. Baggage must be packed in soft suitcases or Duffel bags only and a maximum of 15 Kgs per person and 7 Kgs of Hand Baggage on Safari.
3. For Arrivals after 2 pm, guests must spend the first night in Nairobi as they cannot proceed to the National Parks.
Footnotes Read Carefully
Please note that complimentary drinking water is not served during meals in Kenya. This has to be purchased from the bar at most lodges and camps.
The hotels offer two bottles of drinking water in the rooms on complimentary basis.
This Safari is conducted in a Landcruiser with 7 window seats maximum.
Our vehicles are not air conditioned as they have open tops so air conditioning will not work.
Game driving is restricted to a maximum time of 8 hrs a day as your guide’s daily duty time.

Payment Policy
Our Payment policy is as follows:
For International and Domestic Air tickets a 100 % prepayment must be received at the time of confirmation of the booking. These are subject to penalties of various kinds and therefore please confer with us to ascertain what is applicable.
Payments are required as follows unless otherwise agreed:
50 % deposit upon confirmation of the Safari if booked more than 90 days in advance. Balance payable 60 days prior to arrival. In case the Safari is booked within 59 days, full prepayment is required at the time of booking. All Bank Charges are to be borne by the clients or agents.
Cancellation Policy
The following Cancellation policy is application:
Over 90 days- Nil Penalty
89- 60 days- 20% Penalty
59- 45 days- 33% Penalty
44- 30 days- 50% Penalty
29- 15 days- 75% Penalty
Less than 14 days- No refund at all
